Founded in 1979, the Richmond Jazz Society Incorporated continues to build upon its initial success by adding innovative performance and educational programs each year. RJS has established a distinctive series of programs and events to serve performers, students, teachers and the existing Jazz audience and to expand that audience.  In 2008, RJS was one of ten recipients of the prestigious Governor’s Award For The Arts.

Wedding days are awesome. There’s you, the rad couple who has decided to take the big leap. And there’s the cake, the vows, the friends and family, the toasts and all the love. (Did I mention cake?) Even though weddings can be awesome, they can also be a bit overwhelming at times. With Awesomesauce Photography based in Richmond VA, you don’t have to do anything you don’t feel like doing. Perhaps you don’t want to do a bouquet toss, that’s ok! 

My goal is to capture this EPIC day as it unfolds and not make the day just about the photos. We need to get a few formal photos for mom, but I have the experience to work quickly and get you right back on that dance floor.  With me, there are no rules. Just fun.


Ayasha N. Sledge is an artist, graphic designer, photographer, actress, and college administrator.  She has a keen eye for excellence and has dedicated herself to perfecting her craft in the arts.  She is masterful behind the camera as well as riveting in film.  Ayasha has been featured as an actress in the movie Harriet and in the Showtime Series, Homeland.

She is currently serving as Strategic Communications and Marketing Specialist for the Virginia Department of Education and has previously served as the Director of Marketing and Branding for Virginia Union University, overseeing a full time marketing team. 

A mentor, mother, wife, and friend, Ayasha’s skill, timing, wisdom, humility, and flexibility make her ideal for creative opportunities, in any capacity–photographer, director, editor, designer, or actress. 



MMG Photo Booth is the newest venture of one of Virginia’s most creative agencies, and super fun couples, Kaila & Adolphus Maples (The Maples Media Group) We are known for our different open-air booth options, but our focus continues to be on exceptional quality, creative designs, and exceptional entertainment at a competitive price. Balloons and Things! was officially opened as a retail location in January 2008. We are located at 1108 E. Nine Mile Road, Highland Springs, Virginia 23075. Balloons and Things specializes in custom balloon bouquets and decor for any and every occasion or event. Our stock includes both mylar and latex balloons. There is no job too big or too small in our opinion. We are reasonably priced and we take pride in servicing all your balloon needs. Balloons and Things also provides some “things” to assist you with your party needs. Some of our products include candy by the pound for party bags, custom take home party favors, party in a box for children parties, custom gift baskets and towel cakes to name a few.  In 2014, we expanded our stock to include table linens, seat covers, large scale centerpieces, chandeliers, backdrops, uplighting and more.
